With a recent project in Jesmond, they helped a client take a dark and disjointed side-return extension and, with the simple intervention of the removal of a series of walls and structural columns, opening up the rear of the house, and finally installing a beautiful glass roof, they created an elegant family kitchen.
Redesigning the kitchen also allowed them to re-plan the ground floor to incorporate a bedroom and shower room for a dependent relative. The result is a multi-generation family home, that meets the needs of today but is adaptable for the future.
