Since the Government announcement on March 24th 2020, the offices of Sanderson Young have been closed and the majority of our staff furloughed. During the last 8 weeks, the company retained sufficient staff to answer telephones and communicate with all of our clients by email as well as to oversee the maintenance of our managed portfolio.

It is important that we take these next steps forward in the vital rebuilding of our economy where the housing market provides such an essential foundation to our national economic growth. However, the safety of our clients and our staff remains of paramount importance.
From Monday 18th May 2020 all offices will continue to be staffed with telephones and emails being used for communication. The doors will remain locked and face to face meeting appointments can be made strictly by prior approval.
From the 25th May 2020 our offices will be open to the public but again we would stress, with courtesy and good intentions, that people only visit us in person if essential and ideally by prior appointment.
We are already making arrangements to appraise houses for sale and to let https://www.sandersonyoung.co.uk/sell/free-honest-valuations/ encouraging virtual viewings which will seek precedence over actual viewings which should only be carried out when people intend on offering on a property.
Desk top appraisals and valuations, with Facetime walk-through videos, and drive-by reports will be encouraged with our clients to give accurate valuation and marketing sales plans. The use of virtual viewings with walk-through videos, 360 degree camera work, drones and real time face to face videos, will be used for those hoping to buy or rent.
We have many exciting new homes developments which are due to be launched imminently and these empty properties will have a greater degree of freedom for viewing. Show home weekends will be notified in advance with their opening hours and pre-arranged viewing appointments.
All PPE, health and safety and good practice procedures will be implemented and all clients trading through us will be asked to respect these guidelines.
The need to stay safe, to protect our NHS, requires us to stay alert to control the virus and therefore save lives.
We will do our very best to ensure that all our clients who are keen to move home can do so as quickly as possible and as safely as possible.
