Leading independent North East estate agent Sanderson Young has appointed Greg McCarthy to a senior management role as it looks to drive growth across the North East.
Greg McCarthy, previously at Bailey and Co, joins Sanderson Young as a regional valuer, bringing a wealth of property experience with him, following six years in the industry.
A prominent figure in the North East estate agency sector, Greg has established himself as a property expert on residential valuations, particularly within the Gosforth, Jesmond and Newcastle area, and provides another dimension to the agent’s existing management team.
Duncan Young, chairman at Sanderson Young, said: “Our residential agency services are in high demand in the current market, and we have been instructed to sell many large-scale new home developments across the North East.
“The appointment of Greg is a key strategic move for us, as we adapt and expand our team to increase our dominance within the region’s property market. Greg will become a vital member of the team in the long-term future of the agency. I am very pleased to have him on board.”
Sanderson Young is experiencing strong and steady growth this year, with sales and instructions up 161% this time last year. New build property investment has played a key role in this.
Greg added: “It’s wonderful to join Sanderson Young; a very well-established North East agent with an excellent brand reputation.
“My aim is to build on this reputation and grow our client base further, strengthening our brand, right across the region. We make a very capable team bringing together a mix of experience and expertise and I can’t wait to get started.”
