A FOND FAREWELL TO ELAINE
Elaine Newbigin, branch manager for Sanderson Young at Ponteland office, retires on Friday, 28th June 2019. Elaine, who began her estate agency career in 1970 working for Storey Sons & Parker, has been a formidable and well known character within the estate agency world, both in Newcastle in the early days and then over the last 20 years in the village of Ponteland and surrounding areas. Elaine is very well known in Ponteland itself and has been a great character within the community involving herself heavily in the local sports scene and rugby clubs with her husband Keith and their three boys.
Elaine had her farewell and retirement party with Sanderson Young recently where all her colleagues celebrated her tremendous success and her years of support, professionalism and expertise.
The company is in the process of restructuring their senior management and this has led to the imminent arrival of a new management team strengthened with the appointment of Greg McCarthy, a well known estate agent from Newcastle who comes to the company with a wealth of residential property knowledge.
In Ponteland, Penny Wright, one of the star valuers within the Sanderson Young team, will be working with Janet Hopkinson, a well known estate agent, and Duncan Young, Chairman, to ensure that our clients in the Ponteland area and surrounding villages continue to receive professional expertise from a company which is very well known within this location.
Many of Elaine’s colleagues were very sad to see her go and she leaves with a tremendous amount of thanks, appreciation and fond wishes from all of her colleagues.
