Role - Managing Director
Property career - Duncan began his career in Estate Agency in 1985 and developed a strong reputation for selling houses in the mid and higher price levels throughout the 1990s when he was the Northern Director for GA Town & Country, covering 55 offices, from the Midlands to Scotland.
Sanderson Young was established in 1999 and quickly grew to meet the demands of the region for a high quality and professional Estate Agency and Property Consultancy.

Alan Gardiner (BSc Hons. Est Man) MRICS
Role - Sales Director
Property career - since 1987 Alan has developed a successful career in all aspects of residential property within the North East, working both within the independent and corporate environment. Following 8 years with General Accident Property Services, rising to the position of Area Manager responsible for Newcastle and Northumberland, Alan joined Bradford & Bingley as Northern Regional Director. A graduate of Northumbria University and a Chartered Surveyor, Alan joined Sanderson Young with the opening of the Alnwick branch in north Northumberland in 2004. Born in Newcastle and now lives in North Northumberland.

Janet Hopkinson
Role - Operations and New Homes Sales Manager
Janet moved to the North East in 1974, having worked in estate agency in her native Cumbria.
Joining and helping to develop an 18 branch practice till its acquisition in 1986, when the world of corporate estate agency beckoned, she helped run a 70 branch network before deciding to take up a new challenge in 1999, working within New Homes. Since joining Sanderson Young in 2005, she has overseen large developments at Grove Park, Lime Square and currently Echo 24 in Sunderland. Working closely with Duncan Young to offer advice to both the large and small developer across the region, her forte of successfully managing sales' teams and providing a first-class service has been evidenced and acknowledged by our clients.

Hazel Ross
Role - Regional Sales Manager
Hazel is the Regional Sales Manager for the rare! branch which assists the sale of properties throughout the North East of England from Berwick in the North to Hartlepool in the South.
The branch promotes properties from one regional base in Gosforth and acts for clients selling from £700,000 in value.
Hazel has established a very enviable reputation over the last three decades as the region's leading Estate Agent who receives many repeat and referred clients from her expertise and knowledge.

Property career - Having moved from the Scottish Borders to Newcastle in 1991, and starting a career in estate agency in 1995, Rob has worked throughout most market places in the Nort East. Educated in the Cumbrian Dales, Rob joined Sanderson Young in 2005 having previously run his own estate agency business in the region.

Gail Mclean
Role - Lettings and Sales Manager

Gillian Greaves BA
Role - Office Manager
Career - Born in Ireland, Gillian has been in England since 1986, initially in hotel management, and has worked within corporate and independent estate agency in Alnwick since 1993, so knows Alnwick and Northumberland intimately. She joined Sanderson Young with the opening of the Alnwick Branch in 2004, bringing her own team of specialist staff.

Penny Wright BA
Role - Valuation Manager
Property career - Penny has been working in corporate and independent estate agency since 1998, involved in both sales and valuing. She joined Sanderson Young with the opening of the Alnwick Branch in 2004. Penny has a real love of Northumberland having grown up in Warkworth and returned to the county to bring up her own family.
